The members of Lokahi love to share their Hawaiian traditions and cultural experiences with the community. Whether it is preparing and enjoying traditional "island style" food such as Kalua Pig, laulau and teriyaki or playing and listening to Hawaiian music and dancing the hula, our club is one big "ohana" (family).
Lokahi participates in several fund-raisers throughout the year. One of our major fundraisers in the past has been the Petaluma River Festival in August. We also have set up shaved ice and teriyaki-on-a-stick booths at local community fairs and festivals.
The members of the Lokahi Outrigger Canoe Club are proud of their Hawaiian traditions and cultural heritage. We are proud to be a representative of Sonoma County.
Membership is open to anyone regardless of sex, age, race or religion. We have a modest annual membership fee.
